Zwaard en Volk originates from the enthousiasm of two sword fighters (him and her) who have been interested in the Middle Ages for years. Hobby became profession AND stayed hobby.

Our goal is to offer high quality products for sword fighters, reenactors and people interested in the Middle Ages. We strive to historical correctness but we also sell articles with a blink to the Middle Ages atmosphere. By improving our own knowledge we hope to advise our customers as good as possible regarding historical correctness and in which historical period articles would fit. We don't like telling nonsense or bragging, we want to give honest and correct information, objective advice, good quality, and a good service. As we are swordfighters and reenactors ourselves, we know what we're talking about and we know what our fellow-enthusiasts want! You can visit us in our store as well as at camps.

We are also a reenactment group which targets the 15th century with around 13 people. Among our members are 5 sword fighters and 2 archers so you can often find us at battles. But we also join more quiet activities like chainmail making, baking waffles, wheel weaving, historical embroidering and playing hurdy gurdy. We will visit many local and foreign events with our camp so we can sell our articles there AND have a nice time.
